WAIT LIST INFORMATION

UCSD USES ELECTRONIC WAIT LISTS

 

Impacts ALL Students, Undergraduate and Graduate!

 

  • If a class you hope to add is full, get on the Web Reg wait list during pre-registration
  • Web Reg wait lists will be used by ALL departments from pre-registration through the add deadline
  • The wait list sequence is first-come, first-served. Be sure to enroll during your appointment time!
  • An automated computer program will move eligible students off the Web Reg wait lists and into classes as seats become available. It will run nightly through the end of the second week of the quarter
  • The program will send messages to your @ucsd email about the outcome of add attempts

 

NO ADD CARDS ARE REQUIRED

*Seniors lose their preference if they enroll after their senior registration priority period.

*If you are on a wait list for a biology lab, you must attend the first lecture and lab if you still want to try and add after the quarter begins.  If you do not attend the first lecture/lab, you loose priority on the wait list.
