Welcome to the Murre Lab Web Site Principal Investigator Cornelis (Kees) Murre, Ph.D. The research in our laboratory is focused on the regulation and function of helix-loop-helix proteins in lymphocyte development and homeostasis. Control of tissue-specific gene expression during B and T lymphocyte development, cell growth, cell death and aging are prominent in our research. We are located in the Division of Biology, Section of Molecular Biology at the University of California,  San Diego.
